Rubber Tyred Gantry Crane (RTG) is a mobile gantry crane used in operations to ground or stack containers or other materials. RTGs are extensively used in industry for erecting large unbalanced structures, assembling large manufacturing components, and positioning pipelines. RTG also widely used at the stockyard in steel fabrication and precast industries. Being mobile, RTG is often powered by diesel generator systems (generator sets) of 100 to 600 kW.
